Purity is the measurement of Gold ornaments. In which it specifies the net total percentage of the gold in any ornaments. For example: A 22Ct gold ornaments has 84% of gold and 16% of other metals.

As the natural and pure gold is not very sturdy in nature, so it’s next to impossible to cast a jewellery on 100% gold. Hence other materials are required to create a alloy which is mostly gold, which serves the beautifulness and sturdiness.

Hall Mark is the certification of net percentage of gold. There are government agency that gives the certification. Hall Mark uses X-Ray technology to determine the net percentage of gold in gold ornaments.

Naturally Gold has a bright golden colour. To give it a slight hint of rose, a special ratio of gold alloy is used. That consists of more Copper than usual, which makes it a Rose Gold.
